First of all, it is pieced together in an unattractive, cheap-looking way, never mind the price, and it is lined with fabric, enhancing it's piece-meal appearance. The strap is really stiff, too, so when you go to shorten/double it for hobo carrying, it gaps fairly hideously so it will not lie flat on the shoulder, and the ugly fabric part shows on the outside, leather part on the inside, huh? Way too long to carry by handles, so forget that. Strap aside, I could not imagine having to stick the entire length of my arm way far down in the bottom every time I needed to retrieve something. And it's dark down there! Lining is dark and, as stated, it's a pretty deep hole! Be prepared to dig and feel around a lot with a puzzled-looking wrinkle on your brow, even if you're organized. The bag itself (not the strap!) is attractive, but just being purdy would get old in a very short while.

Best backpack ever! I have never been too fond of backpacks, there was always something uncomfortable, unorganized about them or they just looked like you were going hiking all the time. I wanted something with enough pockets that wears comfy and looks great. This one is definitely it. The organic cotton factor was the icing on the cake, as I watch that my clothing is organic and prefer it in other items as well if possible. I just got back from a trip to Europe, just over a week, and this baby held up great! I used it as my carry on and it did everything I wanted. Not too bulky, but you can get in what you need with room to spare. The only issue I had at first was the high price, but now I really think it is definitely worth it and I would buy again. Thumbs up!
