The leather is beautifully soft and the patent strap really sets it off. The strap fits nicely over the shoulder, but is short enough to carry "tote" style. The interior pockets allow good organization. I am a small person and the size is perfect, not overwhelming but large enough to hold everything I need. Great bag!
